Hope everyone had a summer filled with love & yoga!
As I reflect on my summer vacation and gradually start to welcome the fall season, it hits me, change, what a funny thing. I am forever grateful for change, although it’s not always a pleasant experience. Sometimes we want it, look forward to it, and even pray for it. But other times we dread it, fear it, or run from it. One thing is certain, change is constant. Every aspect of life is subject to change. Summer becomes fall, relationships transform, one life ends and another begins. Change usually comes hand in hand with uncertainty and most of us find the unknown uncomfortable. How do we deal with change without letting our negative thoughts get the best of us?
I have found that my yoga practice helps cultivate the skill to deal with feelings of discomfort with more ease and grace. I try focusing on staying present, being in the moment, just breathing. This has helped turn my attention inward to what I am feeling physically and emotionally. Staying present and finding gratitude is helpful in riding the waves of life’s many changes and I believe remembering this is the key.
Be reassured that change is right around the corner, and with it comes growth and a time when some soul searching will lead to better-days ahead and great opportunity!

Sangha - Sanskrit ordet for "fellesskap”. Sangha genererer kollektiv energi som støtter ens praksis eller mål. Hver måned velger vi en person som ”Månedens Yogi", for å generere litt mer Sangha og samtidig lærer vi litt mer om mennesket på nabo-matten. Følg med på hvem som blir neste måneds Yogi. Om Shanti!
Personen som blir valgt ut som månedens Yogi er noen som innehar gode egenskaper som engasjement og medfølelse, samt er inkluderende.
