 Exploring the way of the warrior in yoga, Indian mythology, & eastern & western traditions, while we see how we can apply these teachings in our life on & off the yoga mat.

The warrior has been a sacred teacher for humanity for thousands of years, & features in some of the most important texts & teachings in yoga, Buddhism & many other eastern & western traditions. Today, especially, the warrior symbolizes each one of us on our personal path of growth in the physical, mental, emotional & spiritual realms. Classes will include Yin & Yang Yoga, philosophy, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra, poetry & Sanskrit chant. This workshop is open to students of all levels of experience & all styles of yoga & is recommended as a two day workshop. If you can only attend one day, it is recommended that you attend the Saturday workshop.

Simon’s classes are diverse, focused and fun, balancing asana work, philosophy, and principles of chinese medicine and energy work, working toward a ‘balanced & complete’ yoga practice.
